The production of ergonomic bicycle accessories is one of the big trends currently in the industry. This does not surprise us, of course, because ergonomics means adapting the bicycle to the anatomy of people. The anatomically adapted bicycle accessories bring real health benefits and reduce certain pains. Cyclists appreciate ergonomic solutions because they enable better hand and arm posture, as well as sitting position, to reduce back, bottom and neck aches. We also are thinking in terms of ergonomics and have developed ideas that provide a better hand and thumb position. We have developed a mount with different angular inclinations, which is very suitable for Rohloff E14 push buttons, among others, and makes operating the shifter very comfortable. Furthermore, we have also designed a handlebar bracket for various handlebar accessories that can be mounted on all handlebars with a handlebar diameter of 22 mm, e.g. for high beam push buttons.

Many users are enthusiastic about the shift control of Rohloff’s Speedhub 500/14. Rohloff has designed an electronic shift button for this, with which the gear should be changed faster and more comfortably. As soon as the gear is changed, the new gear is engaged within 180ms, and several gears can be skipped by pressing the button for a longer time. The idea behind this is great, but the shift button placed on the handlebars feels strange because you have to turn your thumb very far upwards. Cycling in the dark or in the cold season with gloves becomes a challenge because the button is not very easy to operate.
Our holder positions the Rohloff E14 button ergonomically. Firstly, the holder positions the Rohloff E14 button downwards so that it remains at thumb height. Secondly, we have included an angle of inclination in the design to allow for an optimally adjusted position of the thumb. This not only protects the fine motor skills of the index and middle fingers, but also relieves the wrist. Operating the button is also much faster and more spontaneous with our adapter, as the hand continues to enclose the handlebar grip and only the thumb carries out the shifting process. The pressure point of the Rohloff E14 shift button is also easier to feel in this ergonomic position. Another highlight that makes our offer unique is the fact that the handlebar mount can be mounted on the right as well as on the left. Although there are no special bikes for left-handers, they appreciate accessories that can be mounted on the left.
After various tests and customer feedback, we have developed three versions that differ in the tilt angles as well as in the distance between the handlebar tube and the mounted push button. The three versions with tilt angles 60°, 75° and 90° incl. customer photos can be viewed in the gallery below.

Bikers have the same problem with various accessories that can be mounted on the handlebar with handlebar diameter 22 mm. For example, with SL Nano, SL X and SL F Lupine offers especially for e-bikers the possibility to switch the high beam on or off in a fraction of a second with the wired remote control, i.e. to switch between low beam and high beam. Other high-quality manufacturers also offer e-bikes LED headlights with push-buttons, including IQ-XM E High Beam by Busch & Müller, AEW-230 von Litemove, M99 Pro 2 by Supernova and ACID Pro E-140 High Beam by Cube.
The high beam on all bikes is switched on via a handlebar switch. Of course, a high beam that can be switched on quickly is a sensible thing, especially to avoid dazzling other road users, but operating the button is difficult because the switch on the handlebars cannot always be optimally positioned. Especially at night, and especially when it comes to faster light switching, our holder helps enormously. With our holder, we change the position of the light control button downwards and thus enable optimised operation with the thumb. This holder can also be mounted on the right or left, as desired.

Most handlebar mounts require you to remove the grips, brake levers and gears so that you can slide the mount over the handlebar. Our mounts can be attached to the handlebars without removing the grips, which makes mounting incredibly easy. All you have to do is unfold the tab of the bracket. The handlebar brackets are 3D-printed and are made of a special plastic that is elastic on one side and highly rigid on the other. At the same time, the material is ideal for parts for “outdoor activities” because it is UV-resistant, waterproof and weatherproof. The high strength and the smooth surface make our offer very attractive.
